Actors & Costume
Matt Holley (Aged 18) – Protagonist & Frontman/Lead Vocalist (same
character)
Faegan White (Aged 18) – Smoker & Bassist
I’ve chosen Matt Holley as my protagonist as I feel he best
suits the role for my chosen artist. Matt has a very
charismatic sense of humour and is confident. He also has
a similar physicality to that of Mac Demarco himself. Matt
has also had experience in acting and singing so I know he
can fulfil the role well.
For his costume, I want him to be wearing a white t-shirt
(perhaps with a logo) tucked into some denim jeans which
are rolled up to be ankle swingers. I want him to wear
jeans with this costume as well, and possibly a flat cap.
There will be a moment when I want to cross-dress Matt,
so for that moment I will have him wear a wig, messy
lipstick and sunglasses.
I’ve chosen Faegan to play the bassist of the band as (as you
can see) he has had experience in playing the bass. He also
has a Mohawk hairstyle which fits with an individual
aesthetic and gives the band a more unique fashion style.
I want him to be wearing whatever he would normally wear
as his style is quite individual anyway. Preferably, he could
wear what he’s wearing in this photo (that’s with the
addition of the eye protectors from a tanning salon).
Faegan will also be acting as one of the smokers in the
multiple-shot moments.

2. Oscar Jenkinson (Aged 18) – Smoker 2 & Keys Player
Sol Collier (Aged 18) – Smoker 3 & Keys Player
I’ve chosen Oscar as the drummer for the band as he has had
experience in playing the drums so he’ll be able to mime
believably to the music. He has also had experience in acting
and playing in bands before so I know he can fulfil his role.
I want him to wear whatever he would normally wear as he
has quite an indie fashion already. But something like a
patterned shirt tucked into jeans would be good.
Oscar will also be acting as one of the smokers in the
multiple-shot moments.

videoasit offersaslightly‘darker’aesthetictothe alternative
and indie fashion.
Sol will also be acting as one of the smokers in the
multiple-shot moments.

3. Billy Cook (Aged 18) – Smoker 4 & Guitarist
*I will also try to find and include more extras closer to the filming
date, however they are undecided at the moment

Hamiltons ‘Premium Gold’ (herbal cigarettes)
I’ve chosen Billy as the guitarist for the band as he is a
guitarist himself so he’ll be able to mime believably to
the music. He’s also been part of performance and
media projects in the past so I know he’s a confident
performer.
I want Billy to wear baggy clothes for the video as he
will offer the ‘slacker’ aesthetic to the band and cover
more variety for the ‘indie look’.
Billy will also be acting as one of the smokers in the
multiple-shot moments.
I’ve chosen to use herbal cigarettes as using tobacco
cigarettes will be too harmful for the actors. This
brand of herbal cigarettes is amongst the most
commonly used in West End Productions and in Film
& TV across the whole of UK. *Note, the legal
smoking age is 16 and all of my actors are over 16.*

4. Music Equipment
The actors who are playing the musicians will of course be using an
instrument. All of the instruments and equipment we need is:

 Instrument Amplifiers
 Music studio accessories
