8TH DAY OF 40 HOURS NLP WORKSHOP for the TRAINING OF TRAINERS Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a model about human behavior. It is not a theory because a theory must be proved. On the other hand a model merely has to be tested and if the model yields consistent results; it qualifies as a working model.
Every model is based on pre-suppositions which are assumed to be true. The presuppositions
for any given model are fine tuned till such time that the model yields
consistent results.
1. Everyone lives in and operates from his/her own unique model of the world.
2. People always make the best choices available to them, given their unique model of the world and the situation.
3. There is a desirable solution/possible outcome to every problem.
4. Each person is equipped with everything he/she needs to solve his/her
problems.
5. It is important to separate and distinguish a person from his/her behavior.
When someone is learning something new, it is useful to evaluate the
behaviors while holding constant a positive evaluation of self.
6. All behaviors that people exhibit are motivated by a positive intention or purpose.

  7. 7. Master Visualization for all diseases: • Imagine the disease as a demon, give it a shape. Now imagine there is an army of powerful soldiers. Give them shape etc. Now, imagine that these soldiers are killing these demons, and the inner world is free from these demons. • Pain Relieving • Give pain some scale; for example 7 or 8 out of 10. Think of location of pain and give it some color. Now imagine that your inner power in some shape and color that is healing this pain.   9. 9. You may be surprised to see how quickly you can learn how to change your habits -- if you really WANT to. Sleep, smoking, nail biting and eating habits can all be changed • NLPNLPNLPNLP Mind Power TechniqueMind Power TechniqueMind Power TechniqueMind Power TechniqueIn the field of neuro- linguistic programming, or NLP for short, people are often amazed that results can happen so quickly. In fact, some people are downright skeptical that HABITS or FEAR can be erased so easily, often in just one session. • I’ve had clients of mine and seminar attendees overcome habits like smoking, procrastination, even sales call reluctance, in minutes, even when they’ve had these habits all their adult lives.
  10. 10. How is this even POSSIBLE, you may wonder. Getting free from stubborn daily habits in minutes? • One of the fundamental things about this mind power technique -- what makes it work so well in learning how to change your habits -- is that you step out of yourself and see yourself as you’d LIKE to be -- from an observer position (as described in this Emotionl releasing Excercise.) • That might sound simple, and you may say, ‘well, what’s the big deal?’ “so what – so you ‘step out’ and see yourself the way you want to be. How does that change anything?’ But when you DO THIS technique in a very specific way, a very DELIBERATE way, you can make that image -- that mental picture of you – SO compelling that it ATTRACTS you, and you become drawn like a magnet away from OLD habits and INTO a NEW identity as the KIND OF PERSON who is free from that old habit. • In other words, you BECOME the kind of person YOU want to be in your future, starting NOW.
  11. 11. • The process works well because you’re able to DISSOCIATE and SEE YOURSELF in your imagination in a new and compelling way from an observer’s point of view. • There is power and magic in that little process, and I will show you how to use it. • The keys to this NLP mind power technique, developed by Richard Bandler, one of the original founders of NLP, are imagination, visualization and repetition. Do all the steps....
  12. 12. HOW TO CHANGE YOUR HABITS MIND POWER FORMULA • Because your unconscious mind does not know what is real and what is imaginary, a new habit can be formed by mental rehearsal and repetition. In fact most great athletes and entertainers use mental rehearsal to improve their performance. Mental rehearsal is key to learning how to change your habits without needing to physically repeat the new pattern over and over again. • In the following process that new behavior becomes associated with a specific cue or trigger. • The cue could be an object, such as a telephone, a thought or a feeling. • By repeatedly associating the cue with the new feeling or behavior, you’ll create a habitual response that will be triggered whenever the cue or anchor is present.
  13. 13. HOW TO CHANGE YOUR HABITS NLP MIND POWER EXERCISE • 1. Identify an unwanted behavior, feeling and/or attitude you want to change. • 2. What specific cue is always there prior to the unwanted behavior? It could be an object, a symbol or a voice inside your head. • 3. See an image of the cue that is there just before the unwanted behavior and set that image aside for a moment. • 4. How would you look already having a new behavior? As you create a large, bright colorful image of yourself already having this new behavior, you will find that picture of yourself very appealing. Because you notice the posture of that “other you,” you can see that the behavior has changed. When you look into the other you’s face, you can see a sparkle in his/her eyes and a relaxed smile on his/her face. You know the other you feels really good about the change because you can hear his/her internal dialog. What is he/she saying?
  14. 14. • 5. Notice how attractive and pleasing that other you is. You may not know if you would like to become that other you, yet-- the appealing one over there. • 6. Does any part of you object to this image? If yes, modify the image until it is appealing to you in such way that it resolves your objections. • 7. Shrink that image. Make it smaller and smaller until it is a tiny dot. • 8. Place that dot containing the other you that already has the new behavior in the center of the cue image you established earlier (Step 2) • 9. Now rapidly exchange the two images, the cue image and the dot. • 10. The cue image loses color and shrinks into the distance until it disappears. The new you blossoms out right in front of you, closer, bigger, brighter, filling your vision. Ssswwwwwoooooosh.
  15. 15. • 11. Now blank out the scene. There is static fuzz on the screen now. • 12. Repeat the process faster. In the cue image of what you see just before the unwanted behavior, notice the dot that is the new you. And Swwwwoooooooosh. The dot expands and the new you is right in front of you, bright and alive, as the cue image disappears. • 13. Blank screen. • 14. Now again. Faster. You see the cue and the small dot with the new you inside. Ssswwwoooshhhhh. • The image of the new you is bright and alive. • 15. Can you say your phone number backward? • 16. Now again. Faster. See the cue. Sssswwoooosh. • 17. Fuzz balls on the screen.
  16. 16. • 18. Again. See the cue. Ssswooosh • 19. Can you spell your name backward? • 20. Again, faster. See the cue. Swoosh. • 21. Blank the screen. • 22. Cue. Swooosh. • 23. Blank screen. • Repeat the last two steps 5 more times, faster. And then another 5 times, even faster.

  18. 18. Mind Power Techniques • Here is one of my favorite Mind Power Technique that you can use with weight control hypnosis for making EASY changes to your diet. You can use it to condition yourself to be attracted to foods that are GOOD FOR YOU --rather than those that just taste good • I include it in my Weight Management along with dozens of other techniques for reprogramming your body, brain and mind for healthier habits that keep you looking and feeling better. ZIPPER-IN-THE-STOMACH WEIGHT-CONTROL- HYPNOSIS TECHNIQUE Imagine that you have a zipper in your stomach. Your mouth is used to speak and breathe only. When you eat, food bypasses your mouth completely and goes right to your stomach. No taste buds. No sensory pleasures...Would that change your food choices?

TRY THIS THOUGHT EXPERIMENT • Think about eating a plate of nachos dripping with cheese, a large portion of fries, deep fried onion rings, top that with a double fudge Sunday, two crème donuts, chocolate mousse … and or a double helping of your favorite dessert. • Think about eating all that NOW. • How YOU FEEL in an hour?… • Not very good, right?
  20. 20. Good Food for Body & Mind • Now think about eating a nutritious bowl of flavorful soup made of naturally low fat ingredients rich in vitamins and minerals that your body needs. Follow that with a delicious salad of healthy, crisp, organic greens topped with lean protein, and a light, tasty dressing. Now fast forward an hour… How does that feel in your stomach? • The good news is that with weight control hypnosis you can train your mind to prefer food that is GOOD FOR YOU over foods that taste good but make you feel (and look) bad later.

CONDITIONING YOUR THINKING WITH WEIGHT CONTROL HYPNOSIS • In all the years that I have taught hypnosis for weight loss, my biggest challenge is getting you to stop thinking like a person who is "on a diet" and start thinking the way a slim fit person, NATURALLY thinks. • It is the reason WHY, in this day and age, when everyone is demanding a "quick-fix," I know it to be the most effective weight control hypnosis program on the planet. Bottom line is, if you want to make lasting change, you HAVE TO change your thinking.
  22. 22. DO YOU THINK LIKE A SLIM FIT PERSON? • Typically a person when hungry, thinks about food like fuel. When they decide what to eat, their time horizon for decision-making is longer. • A thin person thinks about what will FEEL good in their stomach AFTER they have eaten, and how they will feel, energetically, later in the day. When you think this way, it is a no-brainer to choose a delicious, nutritious, light healthy salad over pasta and a burger and fries. Thinking like a slim fit person is one of the things weight control hypnosis can do for you. • Don't get me wrong! That is not to say that people who "think Slim Fit" never select foods that are tasty or high calorie. But as a rule, their usual pattern, is a longer term approach to food choices. • "Dieters," on the other hand, tend to focus more on the immediate, short-lived sensory pleasure, that a particular food may provide. Until they change their thinking, to be more like the way a "thin person" thinks, they struggle with weight and diet, in many cases, for their whole lives. • Typically, when making eating decisions, "dieters" don’t NATURALLY consider what will make them feel good later in the day. And because being on "a diet" tends to make you feel deprived , they often dream about the sensory pleasure they "missed out on," when they resist temptation, long after the meal is over. So its just a matter of time before will power gives way to imagination.

CAN WEIGHT LOSS HYPNOSIS SPEED UP YOUR METABOLISM? • If your idea of weight loss hypnosis is that of fat melting off your body, like fog in sunlight -- without ANY effort on your part -- well, you may be somewhat disappointed. • But if you are prepared to use it the Mind Power Technique and Mind Tool to more easily change your habits -- and by doing so, make your weight loss quicker and easier -- then you are going to LOVE what hypnosis can help you do.

HOW WEIGHT LOSS HYPNOSIS MAKES LOSING WEIGHT EASIER: • With weight loss hypnosis, you can use the power of mind to create new responses to triggers that, up until now, caused you to eat unnecessarily In other words, hypnosis can help you overcome unhealthy stress responses that contribute to your weight problem. For example you can stop Emotional Eating and break habits that cause you harm. • Weight loss Hypnosis can "change your mind" about "liking" fattening and unhealthy foods. Hypnosis, NLP techniques and positive reinforcement can help you retrain your subconscious mind to enjoy the foods that are low- carb, low fat, healthy and nutritious, and lose your desire for those that aren't. • Using the power of mind through hypnosis, you can increase your Motivation, a key to success when making any lifestyle changes. Weight loss hypnosis, for example, can help you increase your exercise motivation and help you sustain a healthier lifestyle that NATURALLY keeps your weight in check.
  25. 25. SO, WHAT CAN WEIGHT LOSS HYPNOSIS DO TO SPEED UP METABOLISM? • Get enough sleep. Lack of sleep can be a serious obstacle to weight loss. When you don’t get enough sleep, your resting metabolic rate (about 70% of the calories most people burn) slows down. That means the number of calories your body burns while at rest is reduced. If sleep is a problem for you, I highly recommend sleep hypnosis and self hypnosis as a natural. effective method -- with no harmful side effects. • Drink more water. Researchers in Germany found that subjects of the study increased their metabolic rates by 30 percent after drinking approximately 17 ounces of water. (Water is also a natural appetite suppressant and it flushes out sodium and toxins.) • Include muscle building activity or strength training into your exercise regime. Every extra pound of muscle you carry can burn up to 50 additional calories just to maintain itself -- and with no effort on your part. • Eat More Lean Protein and less fat and carbohydrates. Your body burns twice as many calories digesting high-protein foods such as Paneer Cheese or nuts, as it does foods that are high in fat.
  26. 26. • Reduce Stress. More on stress and weight here • Increase over physical activity. If you sit a lot for work, set your phone alarm to remind you to stretch every 40 minutes or so. Never sit when you can stand, or stand still when you can walk, take the elevator when you can take the stairs, stroll when you can stride. Look for the furthest parking space from the store, not the closest. • Add interval training to your aerobic workout. You can burn another 100 to 200 calories by alternating 3 minutes of moderate intensity aerobics with 30 SECONDS of all-out effort. You will be AMAZED how much quicker you can burn off fat. • Take a Ayurvedic Herbs supplement. I am not a big supplement taker but studies show that Ayurvedic Herbs increases levels of fat-burning enzymes and decreases levels of fat-storage enzymes . From what I read, the you should take at least 300 milligrams of EPA and DHA for it to be effective for weight loss.
  27. 27. • Eat less -- more often. Research from Georgia State University shows that people who eat every 2 to 3 hours have less body fat and faster metabolisms than those who eat only 2 or 3 meals per day. Each time you eat, you stimulate your metabolism for a short period of time. • Eat more high-fiber vegetables. A great strategy for weight loss. Fiber is a non-digestible carbohydrate and the body uses up a lot of extra calories trying to break it down. . Plus, vegetables are low in calories, yet high in nutrients. • Using the power of mind and weight loss hypnosis, you can retrain yourself to make GOOD habits out of any and all the above tips for speeding up your metabolism. By doing so, you support your weight loss efforts in a healthy, natural, sustainable way that can literally change your life!
