What is Plagiarism?
Oxford English Dictionary defines plagiarism as:
The action or practice of taking
someone else's work, idea, etc., and
passing it off as one's own; literary
theft.

Plagiarism
Plagiarism is using scholarly works by other in your own
scholarly work with appropriate acknowledgement.
It may occur intentionally or unintentionally
In any case, it amounts to academic dishonesty
There are mechanisms to detect plagiarism but more
important is avoiding it.
