Facing the students, I asked a simple and straight question: How many of you will recommend this training program being conducted by EY to your juniors? We approached LICT and EY and they have gone beyond their remit to ensure that we are able to meet our needs, including working with us in customising curriculum and ensuring the intake is as good as any other country that we are present. Initiated by BCC (ICT Division, The Government of Bangladesh) and implemented by Ernst & Young, the Top Up IT project intends to skill 10,000 CS, Engineering and Science graduates while the FS projects is designed to skill 20,000 graduates from other streams. Due to enthusiasm of academia and other stakeholders, the pilot is on way to crossing the targeted numbers. There is continuous flow of communication and positive feedback about the program from the students, the industry as well as the key Government stakeholders which is being brought to you through this monthly newsletter.

Students are well connected to the trainers and coordinators through online monitoring and feedback system. There is a growing focus on establishing strong relationships with the industries for the placement. From this month, we are going to spread our wings and reach out to train the talent outside Dhaka as well. Finally, we have received very encouraging response to our Eid Special issue (Oct, 2015).We shall continue to look forward to your enthusiastic participation in this project of national importance.
