8. DISASTER MANAGEMENT DAY WISE BREAK UP Day 1: Introduction and Induction along with the basics of course. History of S & R and importance of Disaster Management in life. Day 2: Theoretical, demonstration and practical classes on Fire, earthquake and human disaster. Day 3: Classes on First aid, artificial stretcher, usage of equipment, Rescue signal with practical and demonstration. Day 4: Hardcore practical on ascending and descending on any surface (rock, wall, building etc.) Day 5: Practical and theory examination, physical test, fun activities and finally conclusion with grade results. Total course timing is 25 hours for 5 days. Instructor ratio would be 8:1 that means 1 instructor for every 8 candidates.
