2. Purpose of the presentation
● Explanation how to design Web Based
Training
3. What can we learn about WBT from
this presentation
● Case study for designing WBT.
Sample site:
https://sites.google.com/site/ahf8kahj23r852kjhksjf/
4. Design of the course
● I gave weight to interactivity.
● So, the site is simple, and will be modified for
the students.
5. Logic behind the course design and
selection of content - Audience and
Task analysis
● I assumed Audiences are undergraduate
freshmen.
● The Task that I set is teaching elementary
knowledge of Java Programing Language.
8. Videos used in the course
● Embedded movies in sites often cause
problems.
● So, I used links to the Youtube. Youtube can
also be viewed through mobile phones.
9. How assignments are tied to student
learning outcomes
● I set the cording assignments.
● So actual cording is strongly tied to student's
outcome of study about programing language.
10. How assignments are tied to student
learning outcomes
● But, In the Web Base Training, we cannot reject
“copy & past” without understanding from Web.
● Therefore I think interactive something.
11. How the course layout has been
planned
● I chose ADDID model to development.
Analysis
Design
Development
Implementation
(Formative) Evaluation
12. How the course layout has been
planned
● Summative evaluation has not been done yet,
because no-one tried this course as a student.
13. How to improve the current course
design - Recommendations
● In the current course design, Identifying
students dependences external website.
We can add something that enable that.
14. How to improve the current course
design - Recommendations
● I think more simple is more better
So we can reduce something that is
unnecessary.
15. Conclusion
● Designing Web Based Training requires many
words of caution.
● Interactivity is one of the strengths of WBT.
