See our company page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/pathwaygroup Adult Education Budget (AEB) • The SFA have recently written to existing independent training providers with information about the changes in public contract AEB. • Changes in procurement rules mean the SFA cannot automatically renew contracts at the end of the current contracting term, 31 July 2017. • As a result of contracts ending a competitive procurement exercise for funding made available opened to all eligible providers on the Register of Training Organisations on the 27 January 2017 This tendering process will Close on Monday 27th February at 17:00 • Successful providers will be awarded a contract for 1 year Starting in August 2017 with the potential to extend in the future.

See our company page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/pathwaygroup WHAT THE SFA ARE BUYING This provision broadly groups into the following four categories. • Statutory entitlements • English and maths GCSE and functional skills up to Level 2 (including as part of a traineeship), for those aged 19 and over who have not achieved a GCSE grade 4-9 • Provision to support progression up to a first full Level 2, or a first full Level 2, for those aged 19 to 23 • First full Level 3 for those aged 19 to 23 • Skills provision for unemployed individuals aged 19 and over, supporting them to enter and progress in work • Traineeships – an education and training programme with work experience that supports adults aged 19 to 24, to prepare them for an apprenticeship, employment or further learning • Community learning for learners furthest from learning or employment, who find it difficult to play an active role in wider society or enter the workforce. This can happen for a range of reasons, such as addiction, mental health problems, because they struggle with English or maths, or because English is not their first language

See our company page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/pathwaygroup Health and Wellbeing PeoplePlus were the most successful bidder with a place in each lot. G4S and Shaw Trust each secured 5 lots. The national lot will comprise G4S, Ingeus, People Plus, Pluss, Reed, Shaw Trust and Ingeus. Many large Primes fell by the wayside including some big hitters including Serco with Remploy only getting on the List in Wales Only those bidders who feature on the UAEHRS will be able to tender for the Work and Health Programme The tender for this is expected to start over the next few weeks. It is anticipated that All the Primes included on the UAEHRS will be shortly issuing EOIs once the ITT is issued from DWP Bravo. Although they have already begun the shortlisting proses when via stage one applications in preparation fort their Umbrella Agreement for Employment and Health Related Services Applications.
