in the industry. As well as promoting music they also Warner Music Group
promote other entertainment such as Magazines,
Television and Films. They have the authority over other
companies that as smaller who also provide music of all
genres

3. Warner Music
Group largest business
The Warner Music Group is the third
group and family of record labels in the recording
industry. The group was founded in 1958 and was first
known as the Warner Bros, however in 1967 it then
got sold to Seven Arts Productions, and in this year the
group gained a strong status and had its first bureau
in Australia as well as Canada. As the success
increased the company remained it self to WEA Corp
which stood for the three biggest labels, Warner Bros,
Electra and Atlantic. In mid 2004 the company
renamed the Warner Bros to Warner Music Group as it www.wmg.com/
became and independent company.
Artist such as Ashley Tinsdale, Coolio and Paramore
have worked along side the Warner Music Group and
have been very successful. Labels that belong to the
Warner Music Group are Bad Boy Records, Electra
Records, and Warner Bro Records.
4. Universal
The Universal Music Group is the largest music business in the industry, and is a
part f the big four. The universal was founded in 1934, however it was called
DECCA Records USA but It was changed and developed in 1990 and became
MCA Music Entertainment Group. Si years on the first UMG incarnation was
created, and then got developed to what it is now Universal Music Group. The
headquarters of this music group is New York City (NYC)

5. Sony Music
Sony music entertainment s a global recording music company which was once
joint with Bertelsmann AG in 2004. Being 1 business led to a negative effect on
both companies, world wide. In 2008 The song corporation of America brought the
half belonging to Bertelsmann AG and there success rose to $1.2 billion.. Now
they owned the whole company they changed the name to Sony Music
Entertainment Inc, as it still stands now.
The Sony music is also a part of the Big Four, and their headquarters are in New
York City (NYC) As well as Universal Music Group.

6. Emi Music Publishing
EMI Music Publishing is a British Music Company and is the 4th largest
music company in the recoding industry. It as well also is part of the Big
Four. Was founded in 1931 and the Electric and Music Industries ltd. It had
a merger of the UK Columbia Graphophone Company. The Graphophone
company was well known in 1931 for its record label, His Masters Voice.
Its headquarters are not only set in New York But London, England too.
