Limited orthodontic procedures are those that involve
alignment of no more than four teeth per arch. This
would include the use of removable appliances or
banding of no more than 6 teeth per arch to provide
dental correction

Comprehensive procedures are those that involve
growth modification for skeletal correction and
procedures that require banding more than 6
teeth per arch.

These procedures are limited in that they are only correcting a limited part of the total dentition.
