Students, through their knowledge and interest, will choose a topic related to the financial
sector (corporate governance, asset valuation, exchange rate transmission, monetary policy
transmission, risk management, capital structure, corporate investment, ...) and write a
research proposal on this research idea.
The research proposal must clearly state the following contents:
- Research problem.
- Research motivations.
- Research objectives, and research questions (if any).
- Significance of the study
- Relevant theoretical bases (literature review).
- Research methodology: data and data collection methods, research samples, analytical
methods, models (if any), and methods of calculating variables (if any).
- List of references.
Submit MS word file (do not use Open Office or Kingsoft file format) and mandatory use of
Endnote for citations (using APA or Harvard style).
Students note:
Essay length from 4000 to 5000 words excluding references and appendices.
All essays (excluding references and appendices) are checked for plagiarism using Turnitin
software and if the result is more than 20% plagiarism, points will be deducted.
