This document presents the hypothesis that strategic design can be used to provide innovative and sustainable sources of funding for community centers in developing countries. Traditional sources of funding such as individual donors, governments, and organizations have proven unreliable. The proposed model would create funding drawn from the community center's own network, a network linking multiple centers, and local/global business cooperatives. The document then discusses a specific organization called ADIC as a case study and potential pilot for this proposed funding model.
