BIOSPHERE
•Levels of classification on a global scale
•Consist of every living and non living thing
on earth, from on land, in the water and in
the atmosphere from bacteria to giant
trees and to whale
•The biosphere extends 8 kilometers above
the Earth and 11 kilometers below the
surface of the ocean.
Biosphere
Ecosystem
-an Ecosystem is the natural unit of
biosphere.
-it has both biotic and abiotic factor with
interact and influence each other.
Types of Ecosystem
•Terrestrial Ecosystem
•Forest
•Pond
•Marine
•Dessert
•River
Biotic
-all animals (living) part of an
environment .Such as :bacteria, fungi,
algae, higher and lower plants animals.
Biotic and Abiotic
Components
*Physical Factors
-types of soil pressure
-light, gravity, depth, altitude
*Chemical Factors
-acidity
-alkanity of the soil
-water, salts content, types of soil
1) Plant
-the plant level is the most exclusive. It
is defined as the biosphere.
2)Biome
-is the second most exclusive level of
Organization.It consist of Ecosystem
that share similar climates and
organisms.
Six Levels of Organization
3) Ecosystem
-lot of populations in a similar defined
area.
4)Population
-enhold a group of individuals of
species in the same area.
5)Species
-is a group of organisms that are
similar and can interfered while
creating fertile offspring.
Plants are autotrophic and
are the only organisms
capable of carrying out
photosynthesis and
producing food in any
ecosystem. Hetotrophic
