18. Creative Leadership
THE LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE
Traditional leadership models often lack the skills to
drive innovation. An effective leader can see the whole,
tell a story, synthesize information and inspire a team.
They’re resourceful, can come up with great strategies
and take nothing for granted – the current way of doing
things may not be the best way. This takes creativity.
THE PYE SOLUTION
We provide a framework for understanding the
demands of Creative Leadership, giving participants
strategies and a toolkit of powerful skills to develop
these capacities within themselves and in facilitating
groups.
AS A RESULT, YOU WILL LEARN TO:
• Expand your creativity.
• Develop more effective ways of communicating.
• Skills to lead meetings and group sessions that
encourage participation and new ideas.
• How to promote engagement, original thinking and
risk taking. 16
19. CREATIVE TEAM BUILDING
THE TEAM BUILDING CHALLENGE
A team that pulls in different directions is no team at
all. Weak communication, disconnect, lack of trust or
respect, the fear of being judged and feeling unseen or
unheard are common complaints among employees -
and yet strong teams are the key to high-performing
companies.
THE PYE SOLUTION
Creative Team Building creates a safe and supportive
community allowing participants to develop the key
characteristics of high performance teams.
AS A RESULT, YOU WILL LEARN TO:
• Increase the self-awareness and confidence of team
members.
• Strengthen listening and communication skills.
• Promote the ability to think on your feet.
• Encourage full participation in group processes.
• Build trust.
• Create a more harmonious and collaborative team
environment. 17
20. FACILITATION TRAINING
THE FACILITATION CHALLENGE
An underestimated skill, poor facilitation fails to tap into the creative
potential in your organisation, leading to frustrated employees who
feel their contribution has been overlooked. Good facilitators are able
to bring out everyone’s voice, improving team sessions, building trust,
rapport and openness.
THE PYE SOLUTION
We teach powerful techniques for running more engaging and
participatory team sessions, meetings and events. Our creative
facilitation trainings help you hone your skills as a facilitator, as well as
equipping you with simple techniques to create an environment where
people feel engaged, heard, alive to their own ideas and are willing to
take risks.
AS A RESULT, YOU WILL LEARN TO:
• Create fun, engaging and participatory sessions and meetings,
step-by-step.
• Lead activities that spark your team’s creativity.
• Create a space for dialogue about issues that matter to your business.
• Set up a safe environment for creative exploration, ideas generation
and risk-taking.
• Generate ideas.
18
21. EVENTS DESIGN
AND CONSULTATION
THE EVENT CHALLENGE
How do you inject creativity into your meetings,
conferences or work environment? How do you engage
participants or employees so that they feel part of
something important, valuable, entertaining and
relevant?
THE PYE SOLUTION
We can help you design sessions for your gatherings
to build deep group connections and create a more
impactful and productive event.
• We work closely with the organisers to bring in
creativity, community and team building.
• Our seasoned facilitators can guide participants
through experiences of self reflection and group
development.
• Our team can help you animate the space so that
there is less talking from the podium and more
opportunities to actively connect. 19
“PYE’s participation in our company’s two-day
conference allowed participants to truly connect
with themselves and others. The PYE facilitators
did a fantastic job of engaging the group and help-
ing them find inspiration.”
Paulo Castro, Executive Director C&A Institute
