From this feedback I gained
knowledge on what differences
need to me made. This meant that
I would amend/update my work so
that I have took into consideration
my audiences views and ideas,
which means it would also be
more appealing to them. I have
used Facebook throughout this
course as it allows me to engage
and interact with my audience first
hand in a simple way by uploading
my work and having them
comment their thought on my
different constructions. This gave
me influence to listen to my
feedback and take note of what
improvements should be made.
Even since my A2 coursework I
have become more familiar with
what my audience like/dislike to
see.
From my survey I found essential information
about my target audience and the distinctive
interests that they like to see in a magazine. From
this, I looked at the areas that they liked to see
such as music, fashion and crafts and then tried to
incorporate that into my culture magazine. I
didn't’t use too much of them as my genre is quite
broad meaning I can include a variety of contents.
In addition, I created readers profiles to sum up
the I formation I had gathered from my survey.
This made it easer for me to consolidate my target
audience as a whole and who I was appealing to.
Based on the needs of my audience, the feedback
I have received shows that the majority are
female, between 17-21 years old and interested in
different aspects of culture.
Example of how I tweaked my contents. I included some aspects of
‘arty’ subjects within my contents page. It is only a small change
but shows how I have took on the ideas from my feedback.
Based on the needs of my audience, the feedback I have received shows that the majority are female, between 17-21
years old and interested in different aspects of culture. From this, I established what they wanted to see and what I could
do to make it regional but as appealing as a national magazine so that I could have wide ranging contents. Once I had
received this feedback, I researched different conventions that needed to be included in all of my print media and website
to see what appealed to people in my age range audience. Overall, I feel that my audience feedback has allowed me to
expand my research and find out the different areas that appeal to my audience the most in a culture magazine. All of y
media platforms integrate ideas from my feedback and I have shown this throughout my blog.
