 The psychodynamic approach assumes that we our

feelings and behaviors are affected by unconscious
motives
 This theory believes that our feelings and behaviors as
adults are stemmed from our childhood experiences
 Personality is made up of id, ego, and super-ego
 All behaviors have a reason or cause
 The unconscious mind is in constant struggle
 The theory focus on gender role identity
 The theory focus on attachment
 The theory focus on moral development

 Overall, I’m not too sure if I totally agree with this

theory because it can’t really be tested by science
because there is no way to really test the unconscious
mind
 These theory defines five environmental theories that

individuals interact in
 The Microsystems are the institutions and groups the
mostly and directly impacts the child’s development
 The Mesosystems are the interconections between
Microsystems which are people that interact with the
child
 The Exosystem involves the link within the social







setting
In this system the individual doesn’t have an active role
in the individual immediate context
The Macrosystem is the culture in which the
individual live in
The Chronosystem is the order of environmental
events and transitions within the life
Overall, I agree with this theory
 This theory focus on the development of the thought

process
 It looks like at how the thought process influence how
we understand and interact in the world
 Overall, I agree with this theory because it
acknowledge that children think differently from
adults
 The biophysical theory is an interdisciplinary science
 Biophysics spans all levels of biological organization

 Overall, I agree with this theory because it’s backed by

science
 This theory emphasis the learning of facts and skills
 This theory emphasis on breaking down skills and

information to be learned in small units
 Checking students work is very important

 This theory also stress teaching out of context
