Generation scheduling mode not only affects the economy of power systems
operation, but also affects the efficiency of energy use, environmental and social
issues such as efficiency of resource allocation. So this paper proposes the Green
Generation Scheduling Mode, Which is a better Energy saving and environment-
protection. Green generation scheduling model can not only economic benefits, but
also achieve more environmental benefits.
Generation dispatching model not only affects the economy of power systems
operation, but also affects the efficiency of energy use, environmental and social
issues such as efficiency of resource allocation. It is the only way to solve the
contradiction of the current economic development and energy shortages and
environment resource that is to change and be replaced the current generation
dispatching mode by green generation dispatching mode. The existing researches on
the current generation scheduling model and models are less focus on considering the
energy saving and environmental protection factors, security, economic multi
objective.
GREEN GENERATION SCHEDULING MODE
Power is a kind of clean secondary energy, but the emissions in the production process
through the traditional fossil energy resulting in environmental pollution. However,
green power can avoid environmental pollution. However, green power can avoid
environmental pollution. Green power refers to the power, which transform from
renewable energy including wind, solar, biomass, geothermal energy, hydropower,
ocean energy and other non-fossil energy, without consumption of fossil fuels, no
discharge or little emission, wastewater and waste residue. It is the biggest
advantages of green power to optimize ecological environment for human survival and
sustainable use of energy. If making economically use of green power, there is great
possibility to resolve the conflicts between the economic development, energy
shortages and environment resources can effectively resolve. Because of the lack of
a complete set of market-oriented mechanisms, and the power price not including the
environmental cost, environmental benefits of green power do not be reflected in the
3. traditional market. Lack of power competitive advantages with the traditional power is
the bottleneck of green power development. So the concept of green power market
was put forward by scholars. The United States, Netherlands, Germany and United
Kingdom and other developed countries had already begun the practice of green
power transactions. Green power market as the production and trade market of green
power, green power market mode dividing into three categories, that is the green price
market, green power trading market and green certificate market. At present there is
no uniform definition on green power market. Authors consider Green Power Market
is relative to Traditional Power Market. As is well known, Traditional Power Market is
not a good deal of the external environmental cost and the ecological benefits of green
power in the production and consumption processes. If all power have been treated
all alike, this is unreasonable. Therefore, Green Power Market should be defined as:
this kind of power market with "conducive to promote energy-saving and
environmental protection, resource conservation, ecological environment of the
competition mechanism", "green power dynamic balance mechanism of supply and
demand" and "the price mechanism fully reflecting the environmental costs and
ecological benefits".
Currently, Generation scheduling mode in China is reforming to energy-saving
generation scheduling mode which is a transition mode of green power market. Energy
saving Generation Scheduling Mode is a kind of green generation scheduling mode.
Energy generation scheduling mode, being classified a kind of green generation
scheduling mode, refers to protect the security of power supply first of all, gives priority
to scheduling renewable energy and then in turn other generation units accordance
with energy conservation, efficiency and economy. This is to say that it is to make an
order according to "energy consumption and pollutant emission level" and schedule
generation unit’s combination by the order. Energy generation scheduling mode would
make power market of China step forward green power market.
