2. WHAT IS ENTRE MUJERES?
Entre Mujeres is a Spanish language talk show that is
produced in Salt Lake City, Utah, and aired on CNN
Latino’s local affiliate, KPDR-LD (Channel 19.1).
The two hour show is hosted by five women and is
divided into two main segments:
The first hour of the program is informative and focuses on
community. It features interviews from community
members in the Wasatch Front area who are seeking to
reach out to the show’s key demographic. Interviewees may
include business owners, representatives of community
service organizations, and politicians.
The second hour of the program is more focused on self-
help and well-being, featuring segments on beauty, health
and wellness, local events, and spirituality. It may also
feature performances from local artists and musicians.
3. WHO IS OUR KEY DEMOGRAPHIC?
The strength of Entre Mujeres is the large variety of
topics which each show presents, creating a general
appeal. While the show is hosted by women, it is not
specifically designed to be a show for women and will
entertain a large variety of individuals across various

According to the 2010 Census, approximately 13% of
Utahns are Hispanic/Latino. In addition, Utah has a
high proportion of people who speak Spanish. Because
the show is in the Spanish language, it will seek to
attract individuals in these groups.
Because the show can be viewed for free, viewers do
not necessarily have to have cable or satellite service
to be able to view the program. This makes it easier to
increase viewership.
