3. National Health Policy:
• The Ministry Of Health And Family Welfare,
Govt. of India formulated the First formal
NHP in 1983 with the goal of health for all
by 2000.
• Since then there has been significant
changes in the determinants of health
necessitating the revision of NHP and a
new NHP 2002 evolved.
