The document discusses street dance styles and evaluates a street dance performance by a group. It summarizes that breaking, popping, breakdance and locking are popular street dance styles. It then evaluates the group's dance performance, noting that while some mistakes were made, overall it was a fantastic performance incorporating different techniques like pretending to use technology. The group aimed to be unique by incorporating robotic movements. The music chosen matched the theme of "City Life". While most of the group stayed in time with the music, around 4 people needed more work on exaggeration and timing. Overall the presentation, music, timing and key moves were well done despite some mistakes.

Some of the earliest hip hop songs included "King Tim III" and "Rapper's Delight." Hip hop originated from genres like blues, jazz and gospel and is characterized by rapping over upbeat percussion.
