God is faithful and just. He forgives our sins if we confess them. On this condition we receive mercy. Moreover, His love have not ceased. Therefore, we may commit the keeping of our souls to God as unto faithful Creator and Redeemer.

2. God is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins, if we confess them.
3. Only acknowledge thine iniquity,
that thou hast transgressed
against the Lord thy God.

29. We have the promise:
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and
