A claim to an Employment Tribunal must
be made by an employee within 3
months of the claim arising, there is
an exceptional 6 month time limit for
equal pay claims. For example, if an
employee is dismissed on 30 April
2014 then the employee would have
to submit his or her claim to the
tribunal on or before 29 July 2014. If
the claim was made on 30 July 2014
it would be a day late.
