The Easter Bunny is a magic rabbit
that hides eggs for the little boys and

The symbols for Easter are: the chicks,

 Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th.
 He is the patron of Ireland.

INDEPENDENCE DAY (4TH
JULY)
 It is considered America's birthday,
Independence Day marks the anniversary of the
day the Declaration of Independence.
 People celebrate that day with fireworks, picnics,
fun and games.
 The american flag is more important
that day.
 They make a parade to
celebrate it.

HALLOWEEN
 On October 31st, Halloween is celebrated, thought to
be the one night of the year when ghosts, witches, and
fairies are especially active.

 The symbol is a PUMPKIN
 People dress up in costumes such as:
ghost, witches, zombies,…and go
trick- or- treating

THE BONFIRE NIGHT
GUY FAWKES
 It’s celebrated in England on the 5th November.
 Guy Fawkes was a man who wanted to explode the
Parliament and kill the king.

 Children make a guy and they put it on the bonfire in
the parks.
 They have picnics, they eat hot dogs and toffee apples.
 They watch fireworks.

THANKSGIVING
 Thanksgiving celebrates the help the Native
Americans gave to the pilgrims.
 It also celebrates what we are thankful for.
 In the United States, Thanksgiving is celebrated
the fourth Thursday of November.

 Thanksgiving is celebrated by having a big
dinner with friends and family.
 We eat turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie.
 We also celebrate by watching football and going
to the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

BLACK FRIDAY
 Black Friday is the night of Thanksgiving.
 It begins at midnight where stores open and offer
big sales.
 People wait outside all night in long lines, in the
cold, just to get things on sale.

CHRISTMAS
 It’s celebrated on the 24th and
25th December.
 People decorate a christmas
tree.
 People give presents to their
family and friends
 Santa Claus comes.

 Food: turkey, vegetables and christmas
pudding.
 The boys and girls receive presents

NEW YEAR’S EVE
 It is celebrated on December 31th.
 People host New Year’s parties and
celebrate with their friends and family.
 People drink champagne at midnight and
watch the ball drop in Times Square in New
York City.
