2. From the audience feedback I have found that my ancillary products
and video all have the same theme and house style by using the same
colours such as black and red, and fonts throughout, like on the
poster, magazine cover and in the titles of the trailer, this helps to
show the audience that they are all related.
Also I have found from the audience feedback that the products are
shown to be related by using the same characters throughout all of
the products. This helps the audience to relate to the characters and
remember the film and ancillary products easily.
There are key conventional horror features used throughout my
products helping to show a combination between them, such as low
key lighting used throughout the trailer in most scenes, especially
when the antagonist is shown, also dark make up and conventional
costumes throughout the products which also helps to make them
conventional, appealing and show they are all related.
If I was to make another trailer I would pay more attention to things
such as mise en scene, like choosing a better location which could be
shown throughout the media products.
