Mud therapy was used extensively for remedial purpose in ancient time as well as middle ages In modern time it again came in to prominence as a valuable therapeutic agent  Earth (Mud) have remarkable healing effects on human body INTRODUCTION OF MUD THERAPY
Treating disease by using mud, is called as the mud therapy DEFINATION OF MUD THERAPY
MUD, CONTENT AND IT’S PROPERTISES A higher amount of minerals and plant residues, which is the main reason for its medical properties It is the earth element so the mud is having magnetic properties
HOW MUD WORKS The damp, moistness of the mud relaxes the skin and opens the pores This allows toxins to be drawn out at the same time nutrients are absorbed from mud As the mud dries the skin is tightened and circulation of blood and lymph is increased Increased the circulation delivers nutrients all over the body, Ex; like Oxygen
THERAPEUTIC MUD ,[object Object]
The material used for mud therapy is mostly clay
It is taken from 3-4 feet below the surface of earth
Ensure that the clay does not contain any impurities like compost or pebbles
 First we have to dry it under the sun to kill the bacteria
Then we have to mix hot water to it then cool and see that it has a consistency like soft dough
It should stick and not to be thin enough to slid down when used in the pack,[object Object]
Take the mud and spread it on a strip of cloth(the size may vary according to the requirement) Then place it on the part of the body which is to be treated  Cover it with some protected material like thick woolen cloth This pack can be removed after 10-30mins Can sit under sun light for few min. MUD PACK
MUD BATH  Mud bath covers the whole body The clay is spread on a huge cloth  Then the cloth is warped around the body This pack is for 30 mins to 1hr The patient should exposed to the sun light
Restores proper skin pH It has also Anti-inflammatory effect Mud has anti -aging effect It regenerates healthy skin Mud has detoxifying and toning effect on skin Mud Therapy reduces pain and aches Mud therapy relieves the body from stress related problem Relieves internal congestion and pain BENEFITS OF MUD
