Exercise 1:
Aim - To make a moving car using macromedia flash 8.
Procedure:
Step 1
Create new document and draw an image of car in layer 1.
Step 2
Add layer 2 to make the front wheels.
Step 3
Insert keyframe and rotate the wheels in layer 2 using free
transform tool and the car is moved simultaneously in layer 1.
Step 4
The step is repeated for required amount of time.
Step 5
Press ctrl+enter to view the animation done.
Result:
A moving car is created using macromedia flash 8
3. Bouncing ball
Exercise 2:
Aim – To create bouncing ball using macromedia flash 8.
Procedure:
Step 1
Create a new document
Step 2
Draw steps in layer 1 using lines
Step 3
Draw a ball using oval tool on the top step in layer 2
Step 4
Insert keyframe and drag the ball down to a step using selection
tool.
Step 5
The same procedure is upheld repeatedly to bring the ball down
to the last step.
Step 6
The layer 1 inserted to the required time similar to layer 2.
Step 7
Press ctrl+enter to view the animation done.
Result:
A bouncing ball is created using macromedia flash 8.
4. Piano effect
Exercise 3:
Aim – To make piano effect using macromedia flash 8.
Procedure:
Step 1
Create a new document.
Step 2
Type a desirable word using text tool
Step 3
Insert keyframe
Step 4
Select the text and right click it. You will find break apart
option. Click it.
Step 5
Move a letter individually using selection tool to the desired
position.
Step 6
The same procedure is done repeatedly for all the letters.
Step 7
Press ctrl+enter to view the animation done.
Result :

Flying butterfly
Exercise 4:
Aim - To make flying butterfly using macromedia flash 8.
Procedure
Step 1
Create a new document.
Step 2
Draw the body of the butterfly in layer 1 using oval tool.
Step 3
Draw the wings of the butterfly in layer 2 using oval tool and
give them a colour.
Step 4
Insert keyframe in layer 2
Step 5
Using free transform tool shrink the wings of the butterfly.
Step 6
Insert keyframe and using free transform tool enlarge the wings
of the butterfly.
Step 7
The procedure is done for several times repeatedly.

Layer 1 is inserted for time frame equal to layer 2.
Step 9
Press ctrl+enter to view the animation done.

Wind mill
Exercise 5:
Aim - To create a wind mill in macromedia flash 8
Procedure
Step 1
Create a new document.
Step 2
Draw the base of wind mill using rectangular tool in layer 1 and
colour them.
Step 3
Draw the fan of the wind mill using rectangular tool in layer 2
and arrange them in diagonally using free transform tool by
rotating them.
Step 5
Insert keyframe.
Step 6
Now the fans in the layer 2 are selected and they are rotated
using free transform tool for small distance.
Step 7
7. The same procedure is done repeatedly for several times.
Step 8
Layer 1 is inserted for time frame equal to layer 2.
Step 9
Press ctrl+enter to view the animation done.

A rotating wind mill is created using macromedia flash 8.
Growing moon
Exercise 6:
Aim - To create a growing moon using macromedia flash 8.
Procedure
Step 1
Create a new document.
Step 2
Draw a moon using oval tool. The moon is made as partial moon
by shrinking one side using free transform tool
Step 3
Make the background black and the moon white to represent the
night time.
Step 4
Insert keyframe.
Step 5
Grow the moon slightly using the same free transform tool.

The same procedure is done repeatedly until full moon is
obtained.

Press ctrl+enter to view the animation done.

Diving man
Exercise 7:
Aim - To make a diving man using macromedia flash 8.
Procedure
Step 1
Open a new document.
Step 2
Draw a road using rectangular tool and give it a black colour in
layer 1.
Step 3
Draw a bus using rectangular tool and give it a desired colour in
layer 2.
Step 4
Draw a man in layer 3 using rectangular and oval tool.
Step 5.
9. Create motion tween, insert keyframe and move the bus using
selection tool to hit the man.
Step 6
Create motion tween and rotate the man in layer 3 using free
transform tool for a certain distance.
Step 7
The step 6 is done repeatedly for several times for the required
amount of time.
Step 8
Press ctrl+enter to view the animation done.

A diving man is created using macromedia flash 8.
