Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded TRIO program at Cal Poly that helps 250 students be successful through tutoring, advising, mentoring, and workshops. SSS student Gabriel Flores shared advice about using tutoring and being involved in the program. SSS provides academic advising, tutoring, a first year seminar, mentoring, social/cultural events, grants, and workshops to support students, especially during their first year when academic performance can decline. Students interested in the SSS program should contact the office by August 7th.
