Maroon 5 is an American rock band formed in 2002 in LA. They released their hit song "Makes Me Wonder" in 2007 as part of their album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long". The song reflects the lead singer Adam Levine's feelings after a relationship went wrong and explores themes of lost love, confusion, and wondering if the relationship was ever meaningful.
