 First female minister- Nina Bang, Danish Minister of Education was
the first woman to be minister in democratically elected
parliamentary government.
 First female prime Minister and President - Sirivamo Bandaranaike
of Sri Lanka became world’s first female elected premier Minister
and Isabel Peron of Argentina became first woman President- one
woman had been Acting head of Government and two woman
Acting Heads of state before that.
 Current female heads of state and government- there are 30 female
leaders in 28 different countries.
