All about web design trend of 2015
1. This presentation is all about Web Design Trends That Will Rule 2015.
Web design is a vibrant and diverse industry that is changing and evolving
quickly. Website design is, however, not an end product; it’s an asset in
the presentation of a product, connecting people with other people,
providing a tool or service.
In this post I will try to review the current status of web design and
predict some trends for 2015.
We have entered in the year 2015 and the same question is buzzing in my
mind that what would be in the trends and what not in this year. Analyzing
the facts, I have found that following five trends will flourish this year.
2. Building on the concept of simplicity, here are the Top trends to
watch in the coming year.
Responsive
Distinctive Typography
Flat Design
Grid Layout Like Pinterest
Use Of Full Background Image
3. This isn’t a new one and shouldn’t come as a Suprise. I think
responsive web design has now officially been on the list for the past
three years.
Responsive design is now expected and if your site isn’t responsive,
you need a redesign. Add it in to your marketing budget now and
plan for how it will impact your search engine optimization strategy.
Contrary to popular belief, you aren’t creating your website just for
phones, tablets and desktops anymore. In 2015, businesses need to
have websites that work well on the aforementioned devices plus
smart watches, TVs, home appliances and even cars, to name a few.
I’m sure the list of devices that can stream content from the web will
be even longer in a year.
If your site is already responsive, kudos! But, you aren’t out of the
woods quite yet. To accomodate these new devices – specifically
smart watches – the responsive navigation structure we are all used
to will need to change. This rollout won’t be fast. By the end of
2015, we should start to see solutions emerging.
4. An emphasis on typography is going to take center stage in
2015 – every designer’s dream come true.
Simple, bold typography elements combined with the large
images, will dominate the web.Because content is king, this
emphasis on typography should come as no suprise, and it’s
a philosophy that isn’t going anywhere.
The Web Typography Trend in 2015 is not going to be
limited to the standard fonts, Google fonts and custom fonts
will be used most. The typography is one of the most
significant aspects of designing.
The designers have already begun the experiments with the
typography. It’s a great feature of TemplateToaster that it
supports all types of typography, be it custom or Google
fonts.
5. The clean designs would be loved in this year. We saw the
exaggerated websites in previous years, now they are not in
trend.
The flat design will rise through this year. People being liking
the minimal designs for two reasons, they keep off distracting
elements from design and just pop up the useful things.
Minimal design approach suits for every kind of website except
the content oriented websites because the content can’t be
replaced with anything.
Don’t expect this trend to disappear in 2015. Quite possibly the
biggest trend of 2014 is only going to gain momentum in 2015.
Since flat design is so focused on minimalist principals, sites
appear clutter-free and content focused. Second, it’s how we
access content. Flat design is less clunky and much easier for a
web server to deliver to devices like mobile phones and tablets.
6. As compared to the conventional scroll down style, the grid
based layout would be loved more. This style has its own
benefits too.
One is that the viewer would be able to see all what the
website has to show. The most loved posts/articles can be kept
in one tray before the viewer, and they all get noticed. The
landscape view contains rather more posts that portrait view.
The use of grids in web design is a popular topic that has
inspired many designers in their pursuit of the perfect site
design. Although this concept is just a few years old, the use of
grids has been ever-present in field engineering and
architecture, where precision is key.
A common example of the grid in web design is on newspaper
websites. These websites often used grids as a necessity; the
sharp look is one way to effectively manage and organize a
large amount of content.
7. One of the simplest ways to make your site stand out is by having
great content displayed prominently. This trend is a wonderful
way to accomplish that and when folded into a larger design
style/philosophy it doesn’t feel gimmicky but powerful and
elegant.
Images are one of the most important factors, engaging the
viewers. An appropriate image could lead to successful
conversion. Full screen image is the way to use it perfectly.
It’s the trick to grab the viewer’s attention. A clear resolution
image with the strongly visible content is sure to make the
viewer’s mind to spend its minutes reading what the website is all
about. This idea is perfect for the photography websites and
photo-blogs.
Since this is an emerging trend, the need for increased bandwidth
is being recognized by developers and hosts. Expect to see new
techniques in responsive resizing and image optimization.
