major Canadian Oil Sands Producer implementing SAP MDG 7.0 for Enterprise and Custom objects.
Lead Functional/Configuration of Material Master, IDOCS, XML-based Interfaces coming from Legacy
systems, Open Purchase Orders/Requisitions, Vendor Master, Source Lists, Inventory Management, Goods

Responsible for development of WRICEF documentation for these objects taking into account the ECC
and MDG designs including Configuration, Enhancements and Workflows. Develop and execute Vendor

the various business teams in these countries to determine the best double-byte character set approach for
Master data. For Japan – we enhanced the data transfer of Customer addresses to post Kanji , Katakana and
English address details such that SAP Super Users could access the pertinent language when needed for
business purposes. Worked with the extended teams in scrum approach to develop a custom language object
that when included in the User profile, allowed the user to print or display in the appropriate character set.
Oversaw extensive testing of data character sets that also included Simplified Chinese, Traditional set, and
Hangul. Character sets had to work across multiple application platforms from legacy to SAP and translate
correctly in inbound files. Led the team to develop iterative data loading approach, stress tests with high
volumes, archive/delete data and re-load with new, changed data.
IBM SAP Cross Brand Systems Project 2006-2008: Team Lead for OTC and Master Data processes:
responsible for working inter-team ( Scrum) to enable Multiple Brand ordering of HW/SW, Services on
single customer PO. Re-Organized the Software business by reflecting a new SAP Enterprise structure
model, our team configured this new structure to include SD, FI and MM structures. I was part of a sub team
that provided POC demos for SAP Service Master, Conditions and processes and compared to the use of
Material type DIEN for Services. Responsible for joint testing between the US and Germany based teams
with development resources in India. Managed this ‘follow the sun’ approach within the testing cycles and
led Daily test calls with applicable teams.
Our team managed three go lives end to end to include Germany, extended Germany partners in EMEA
countries, the US and Canada- Caribbean Nations – various.
Managed the execution of Data transfer tools : SAP LSMW and InfoShuttle, our teams used these tools in
testing and Go-live for Master data object loads and updates.
Manage and develop the training of new Team members in the current methodologies mentioned above;
ensure that development methodologies are explained and adhered to, ensure that Project scope is fully
