 This tiny state is situated on the western coast of India, between
the borders of Maharashtra and Karnataka and is better known
to the world as a former Portuguese enclave on Indian soil. With
the rule of the Portuguese for over 450 years and the
consequential influence of the Latin culture, Goa presents a

 Parasailing
 This is the best way to enjoy a microlite view of the beautiful Goa. Two
options of Para sailing can be enjoyed here. First is winch-boat para
sailing where a person lands on a winch boat and the Beach Para
sailing, wherein the person is made to land on the beach itself. Beach
para sailing requires a lot of co-ordination and due to lack of good
safety, it is now bring discouraged. Winch-boat para sailing however
takes much higher into the sky and is more fun. The famous beaches of

Brahma temple is situated 7 kms from
Valpoi and 60 kms from Panaji in the Village
of Brahma Carambolim in the Satari taluka.
The image shows Brahma standing in the
centre and its peculiarity being that he
wears a beard. Brahma is shown in its trinity
form or Trimurti that is Brahma – Vishnu –
Mahesh.
The presiding deity in this temple
Dattatreya is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu
Dattatreya. Dattatreya temple is located at a
very short distance of 1km from Murud.

The temple is popularly known as ‘Pisso’
Ravalnath and is located at Marcel. This is
the only temple in India where Lord Krishna
is worshipped with his mother Devaki as

The ancient Chandreshwar Temple also
known as the Chandranath Temple and is
situated on the road to Quepem, about 14
km from Margao. It is located on the
Chandranath parvat, a heavily wooded hill
on Paroda Parvat.

The cuisine in Goa is a perfect blend of diverse food cultures - the
Konkan, the Portuguese and the Bahamani Nawabi traditions. When

mussels, oysters, crabs, feni, gin and many more. Goan restaurants also offer

& local wines (port being the most palatable). Goa offers equally good options
