What are some way
to save water?
There are many ways to save water for example we could not have really long showers or baths in winter event though it is very tempting, we could waste at least 80 litres of water. Another way is not leave the tap on when brushing your teeth, it could waste about 35,000 litres a year (per family).
How can we re-use
or recycle water?
We could re-use water by using a water tank so then the water tank can collect the rain water. The water tank kills all the bacteria in the rain water then the water goes through the pipe and into your tap. Another way is to get all your dirty clothes then stomp on them while you are having your shower in that way you can save less water and it saves water needing to wash it the second time through the washing machine.
Which country wastes the
most water and why?
The countries that waste water are Canada, Denmark, USA and many more big countries. Some reasons why they are wasting water because they need it for swimming pools (if they own one or have it in they’re backyard), washing their garden. Also because they are taking long baths and when the water becomes cold then they would have to change the water again. But the most common reason why ‘us’ humans waste water is because we don’t value them, so people are just wasting water because they don’t know that only 2% of earths water is fresh, 97% is salt water so that means that only 1% of water is available for humans and animals to drink.
How do people in different
countries survive without
many access to water?
People survive by just drinking whatever is available to them. They need to drink it even though if it’s contaminated or even dirty because 75% of your body is water. People in e.g. Africa takes half an hour to get water and it takes another half an hour to wait because lots of people need water as well. Usually kids get water for their family and when they get there it takes them to walk and get there to the well which takes about 2 hours and usually kids are late for school.
