2.  The CFA Society of Chicago is a nonprofit
professional association affiliated with the global CFA
Institute network. Founded in 1925, CFA Chicago
today includes over 4,000 members, all of whom
currently are or will be chartered financial analysts
(CFAs). CFA Chicago upholds the highest ethical
standards for securities analysis and investment
portfolio management. In addition, it offers many
benefits for members, including CFA test training
materials, access to CFA job listings, discounts for
members-only events, complimentary events tickets,
and advisory group leadership opportunities. The
mission of CFA Chicago is to be the premier resource
for CFA designees, candidates, and other investment
professionals in the Chicago business region.

3.  As a civically inclined organization, CFA Chicago
promotes three major community service
initiatives throughout the year: the Arts and
Business Council, to provide pro-bono
management consulting services for arts-related
nonprofit groups; the Executive Service Corps, to
provide volunteer CFAs to government, nonprofit
groups, and schools; and the Goldie’s Place
Executive and Associate Board, to provide
financial leadership to Goldie’s Place, a shelter
and learning center for the homeless in Chicago.

GE Capital Markets, the financial arm of
General Electric Corporation, and a member
of the CFA Society of Chicago. As a CFA
Chicago member, Todd Bernier is promoting
