Unicorn Rentals
ユニコーン（英語 : Unicorn, ギリシア語 : Μονόκερως, ラテン語 : Ūnicornuus）は、
⼀一⾓角獣（いっかくじゅう）とも呼ばれ、額の中央に⼀一本の⾓角が⽣生えた⾺馬に似た伝説の⽣生
き物である。語源はラテン語の ūnus 「⼀一つ」と cornū 「⾓角」を合成した形容
詞 ūnicornis （⼀一⾓角の）で、ギリシア語の「モノケロース」[1]から来ている。⾮非常に獰
猛であるが⼈人間の⼒力力で殺すことが可能な⽣生物で、処⼥女女の懐に抱かれておとなしくなると
いう。⾓角には蛇などの毒で汚された⽔水を清める⼒力力があるという。海の⽣生物であるイッカ
クの⾓角はユニコーンの⾓角として乱獲されたとも⾔言われる。
