• This project was a development project of
Tõstamaa community - cooperation with
NGO Tõstamaa Manor and the main aim of
the project was to develop Tõstamaa School
to attractive community and tourism centre
for locals but visitors also.
• The project period was from August 2014 till
the December 2015. The main outcome of
the project was sustainable and attractive
manor school as community and tourism
centre which is based on improved and varied
services in the Tõstamaa manor and
cooperative partners in the community.
Developing Tõstamaa Manor School as a Multi-Faceted
Community Center for Tourism and Culture
New technical equipment and different facilities to improve quality of tourism and community
services and to establish manor cafeteria: 2 set of tables, set of stylised dishes for hundred
people, curtains, equipment for local movie theatre, weaving machine and etc.
To improve quality of service qualities trough better guiding, language skills and handicraft
were implemented English and Russian courses, furniture renovation and knitting course and
guide training too.

To improved visitor trip in Tõstamaa community and manor house were published
new map of local sights and book about Tõstamaa manor. For further activities were developed
1st strategy for professional handicraft tourism in Tõstamaa community

Developing Tõstamaa Manor School as a Multi-Faceted Community Center for Tourism and Culture

  • 1. • This project was a development project of Tõstamaa community - cooperation with NGO Tõstamaa Manor and the main aim of the project was to develop Tõstamaa School to attractive community and tourism centre for locals but visitors also. • The project period was from August 2014 till the December 2015. The main outcome of the project was sustainable and attractive manor school as community and tourism centre which is based on improved and varied services in the Tõstamaa manor and cooperative partners in the community.   • 2. New technical equipment and different facilities to improve quality of tourism and community services and to establish manor cafeteria: 2 set of tables, set of stylised dishes for hundred people, curtains, equipment for local movie theatre, weaving machine and etc. To improve quality of service qualities trough better guiding, language skills and handicraft were implemented English and Russian courses, furniture renovation and knitting course and guide training too.   • 3. To improved visitor trip in Tõstamaa community and manor house were published new map of local sights and book about Tõstamaa manor.
