This document outlines lessons on researching and analyzing protest groups. The aims are to understand how protest groups work and develop research and analysis skills. Students will research four protest groups - Greenpeace, CND, Countryside Alliance, and Amnesty International - using an online research grid to organize information on each group's aims, key dates, tactics, size, and successes. In a reflection, students will consider what worked well, what did not, and how they could improve. The next lesson involves critically presenting on one group and receiving peer feedback.
