You can use RSS Feeds in your social media strategy.
Check your subscriptions and RSS feeds on a regular
  basis. Monitor all updates and then share and
  tweet anything that would be of interest to your
  followers.
There are many programs out there to
  help you manage your RSS feeds,
  such as NetVibes and
  Google Reader.
COMMENTS

A comment is a written remark often related to an added piece of
                    information, or an observation or statement.
IMPORTANCE OF COMMENTS
You should always allow comments on all of your
  social engagement activities.
Don’t be afraid of the negative. Address it and
  earn a valid reputation and trust.
Social media networking is engaging in the
  conversation that is already out there.
Allow readers to comment, learn
  from the comments, and be a part
  of them.

VIDEO AND PHOTO SHARING SOCIAL SITES
There are several video and photo sharing social sites on the web.

YouTube, Flickr and Vimeo are among the most popular.

Here you can post your company videos, viral videos, and upload photographs from
your place of business, events, happy customers, projects completed, etc.

People love visual photos and video has taken the web by storm. Now we don’t just

Social publishing tools allow you to share
  documents, PowerPoint presentations and
  PDFs. This is another social area where you
  can expand your reach.
For example, create PowerPoint presentations of
  projects completed, photos from an event, etc.
  and post them here to share with the world.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
THINGS TO REMEMBER
   Don’t be afraid of new media. Learn to manage this fear.
   Realize there is a new type of consumer who only puts in his/her face what he or she wants in his/her face.
   Try to unlearn what you have previously learned. It’s a whole new ballgame out there.
   Listen to what your customers are saying.
   Engage your customers.
   No one cares about you, except you.
   It is all about them.
   Provide valuable content for your followers/fans.
   Keep them interested with topics they would be interested in. You can include your promotions and contests.
   Leverage emotions.
   Praise other people’s work continuously. They will return the favor.
   Encourage sharing.
   Develop relationships with prominent bloggers.
   Know your audience. Know where to find your audience.
   Be clear about your objective.
   Let your content spread. It doesn’t matter where it is.
   Decide how you will track. Spread of information on the internet? ROI of community?
   Don’t sound like a press release.
   Don’t hard sell.
   Use these methods to pull the customer to you, instead of pushing yourself at them.
   Be personable.

Monitor all updates and then share and tweet anything that would be of interest to your followers. There are many programs out there to help you manage your RSS feeds, such as NetVibes and Google Reader.

  • 15. IMPORTANCE OF COMMENTS You should always allow comments on all of your social engagement activities. Don’t be afraid of the negative. Address it and earn a valid reputation and trust. Social media networking is engaging in the conversation that is already out there. Allow readers to comment, learn from the comments, and be a part of them.
  • 17. VIDEO AND PHOTO SHARING SOCIAL SITES There are several video and photo sharing social sites on the web. YouTube, Flickr and Vimeo are among the most popular. Here you can post your company videos, viral videos, and upload photographs from your place of business, events, happy customers, projects completed, etc. People love visual photos and video has taken the web by storm.   • 19. SHARE YOUR CONTENT Social publishing tools allow you to share documents, PowerPoint presentations and PDFs. This is another social area where you can expand your reach. For example, create PowerPoint presentations of projects completed, photos from an event, etc. and post them here to share with the world.

Learn to manage this fear.  Realize there is a new type of consumer who only puts in his/her face what he or she wants in his/her face.  Try to unlearn what you have previously learned. It’s a whole new ballgame out there.  Listen to what your customers are saying.  Engage your customers.  No one cares about you, except you.  It is all about them.  Provide valuable content for your followers/fans.  Keep them interested with topics they would be interested in. You can include your promotions and contests.  Leverage emotions.  Praise other people’s work continuously. They will return the favor.  Encourage sharing.  Develop relationships with prominent bloggers.  Know your audience. Know where to find your audience.  Be clear about your objective.  Let your content spread. It doesn’t matter where it is.  Decide how you will track. Spread of information on the internet? ROI of community?  Don’t sound like a press release.  Don’t hard sell.  Use these methods to pull the customer to you, instead of pushing yourself at them.  Be personable.
