1. Teacher’s Prayer Before Class
You O God, are my strength, my patience, my light and my counsel.
It is you who make responsive to me the students confided to my care.
Abandon me not to myself for one moment.
For my own conduct and for that of my students,
grant me the spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the spirit of knowledge and piety,
the spirit of holy fear of you and an ardent zeal to procure your glory.
I unite my efforts to those of Jesus Christ,
The master teacher, and I beg all the saints in heaven to assist me
In the exercise of my teaching ministry.

2. SIMPLEPRAYER BEFOREEXAM OR TEST
Lord, today I am just really stressed.
You know Lord that I am having some trouble with the test I am about to take.
I know it’s probably not the biggest world problem,
With people starving, people turning away from you,
people in wars, and more.
But Lord, it’s what I’m facing right now, and I need you in this time.
I know that no problem is big or small for you to handle,
and I need to turn this stress over to you to help me with.
Lord I just need to ne able to focus.
I need your help to look at this information
so I can remember and apply it well on my exam.
I need you to help me to feel more confident going into the test
and relax a bit so I can concentrate.
Lord, please help the people around me to understand
that I need to focus and study.
Also Lord help me when I walk into the exam.
Give me the peace, when it is all said and done,
to know that I walked in and do my best.
I pray Lord for you guiding hand as I take the exam,
and I ask for you welcome calm
when I walk our of the classroom after.
Lord thank you for all the blessings you have place in my life.
Thank you for being here in this time when I feel a bit overwhelmed.
Thank you for always being there and allowing me to rely on you.
In Jesus name. Amen.

3. PRAYER BEFORETAKING FINAL EXAMINATIONFOR STUDENTS
Dear Jesus,
I am taking final exam today.
And so I humbly come before you
and ask for you gracious help and divine assistance.
I pray to you my dear Jesus,
Please let me not get panic or nervous.
Let me not rely on guesswork or luck,
Rather enlightens my minds and help me to think clearly.
Never let me resort to cheating and other dishonest practices.
Help me to do mu utmost to pass my examinations.
I pray for your guidance that:
I may give the right solutions
Solve even the most difficult problems,
And answer all question correctly.
I ask O Lord, for you intercession
That I may be neither careless nor over confident
Help me concentrate and keep me from getting distracted.
Let me not rush but help me finish on time.
Confident of your help, I will be of ease
I will be able to do my best.
O my Jesus, without your help I can do nothing.
With you help I can do everything well and get the best results.
Please be with me today as I take my final exams. Amen.
4. PRAYER TO MY GUARDIAN ANGEL
Lord Jesus, who is a kind and tender to us all,
has given us an angel to guide and protect us.
O Angel of God, in his goodness
God gave you to me to guide,
protect and enlighten me and bring me back
to the right way when I go astray.
Encourage me when I err in my judgment.
Help me to become more Christlike
and so some day to be accepted into the company of Angels and Saints in heaven.
Amen.
5. ACT OF HOPE
O my God, relying on your infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of
my sins, the help of your grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus
Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.  Amen.

PRAYER OF ST. EDMUND, THE PATRON SAINT
Into Thy hands, O Lord,
and into the hands of Thy holy Angels,
I commit and entrust this day my soul,
my relations, my benefactors,
my friends and enemies,
and all Thy Catholic people.
Keep us, O Lord, through the day,
by the merits and intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary
and of all Thy Saints,
fromall vicious and unruly desires,
fromall sins and temptations of the devil,
and fromsudden and unprovided death and the pains of hell.
Illuminate my heart with the grace of Thy Holy Spirit;
grant that I may ever be obedient to Thy commandments;
suffer me not to be separated from Thee, O God,
who livest and reignest with God the Father
and the same Holy Spirit
for ever and ever.
