EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
TIFFIN TREAT is an online food delivery service founded by four students, named
o HIBA SHAIKH
o VARDA SHAIKH
o MARYAM QAZI
o MAHGUL KHAN
the inspiration of the business came out of the co-founders’ pain point where they
are students at the isra University, Hyderabad campus, they observed that the
employees of university found it hard to find good lunch options, especially in
Hyderabad campus where on-site dinning choices are limited and local restaurants
are at distance.
For the staff, lunch time is usually limited. Many teachers need to squeeze time
between classes to fill up their stomach. Meals that can be easily managed and
conveniently obtained are preferred; especially unhygienic junk food from canteen is
usually preferred by them.
Tiffin treat is committed to solve employee’s lunch issue by providing a pre-ordered
lunch box delivery service to the staff. The service has been in trial for three months
on campus and has generated a lot of interests and groups of loyal customers; the
company is dedicated to providing delicious food and excellent service to customers
in a cost and time efficient way. The goal cannot be fully accomplished without the
university’s help.
Tiffin treat is currently extending its offering to the entire Hyderabad. The founders
are looking into getting support from Hyderabad authority to get approval on
delivery locations and logistical support. Seeding investments are also welcomed to
help the company accelerate the implementation and expansion of the service.
Product/Service Description Currently Tiffin treat targeting traditional cuisine, it has
a rich history of creating a variety of balanced and delicious dishes. Many types of
dishes can be mass produced and are good choice for lunch.
Serving lunch in bento box is super convenient, in which people can get multiple
and nutrient-balanced meal in one convenient box for a fair price. The team is
responsible to create tasty and nutritionally balanced menus, offering many combo
choices for customers to choose from every weekday. Customers can access the
10
menu conveniently through the official website (www.tiffintreat.com.pk), also can
review menu descriptions and place their orders.
All meals are packaged in a microwave safe container, with Tiffin treat designed
paper wrapper on the container body and a complementary utensil bag. The bento
boxes are priced at rs10 each, including tax and other miscellaneous fees.
Employees can preorder their lunch 16 hours ahead. To receive timely feedback
and solve problems from customers, Tiffin treat staff also created social media
group for constant buyers to communicate on an open platform. Many loyal
customers are formed this way, and their feedback encourages the team to improve
service and move forward with confidence.
If Tiffin treat can perform well within the Hyderabad region then the offerings can be
more diverse and will be planned to introduce this plan in other cities of Pakistan as
well. Tiffin treat can customize the product and service on demand in the future but
keep in mind the quality which is our primary concerned.
Uniqueness: Tiffin treat can differentiate themselves from other food delivery
services as; they produced food that is either too oily or unhygienic. Also they don’t
specifically deliver to the offices, staff or employees but Tiffin treat has its own
unique strategy, it is delivered to the personnel.
The menu changes every day so that customers won’t get bored with the offerings
and can anticipate a surprise every day. The price is competitive and the purchase
process is hustle free.
Tiffin treat is able to manage cost effectively and focus on building relationships with
customers to provide healthy lunch and reliable service to them, which puts us in a
competitive position among competitors.
Rationale for Success: Tiffin treat is addressing a real pain point of personnel,
providing healthy and easily managed lunch to them conveniently. The menu is
attractive and quality assured, and the process of ordering online and pay ahead
makes it hustle free.

For the staff, lunch time is usually limited. Many teachers need to squeeze time between classes to fill up their stomach. Meals that can be easily managed and conveniently obtained are preferred; especially unhygienic junk food from canteen is usually preferred by them. Tiffin treat is committed to solve employee’s lunch issue by providing a pre-ordered lunch box delivery service to the staff. The service has been in trial for three months on campus and has generated a lot of interests and groups of loyal customers; the company is dedicated to providing delicious food and excellent service to customers in a cost and time efficient way. The goal cannot be fully accomplished without the university’s help. Tiffin treat is currently extending its offering to the entire Hyderabad. Tiffin treat can customize the product and service on demand in the future but keep in mind the quality which is our primary concerned.
