• Deep Expertise - Oracle on Oracle
– EBS Developed by Oracle, and now made to work on Oracle Compute
– Experience as seamless as what you have on-premise
• Automation
– Automated provisioning of EBS instances?
– EBS Clones in minutes vs hours?
– Automated EBS Backup/Restore?
– Multi Node EBS deployments from EBS Backups/Images?
– Automated DR for a given EBS Instance

What If you Cannot Consume Public Cloud Services ?
16
Genuine constraints prevent the consumption of public cloud
 Connect with back-end
mainframes,
databases, ERPs, etc.
with near zero latency
 Dedicated
infrastructure offers
lower latency
Latency
 Comply with regulatory,
legal and privacy
requirements
 Sensitive data on
premises
 Custom security
standards
Data Sovereignty
 Keep 100% control over
business-critical systems
 Use your own firewalls,
load balancers,
hardware VPNs, etc.
 Extremely high SLAs

Lift & Shift : Cloning a EBS Instance from On-Premise to Cloud
EM automates all the following steps as part achieving the Lift & Shift to Cloud
– Performs all the pre-cloning activities on the Source instance which is On-Premise in creating the stage
of both DB & Apps Tier
– Transfers the stage from On-Premise to the Cloud
– Will seamlessly create all the VM’s required for both the DB & the Apps tier with required shape & size
as desire by the end user in the Oracle Cloud.
– Create the VM for OTD in Oracle Cloud
– Configures & binds DB Tier, Apps Tier & OTD together.
– Pushes EM agents into all the VM's involved in the Topology of EBS Instance.
– Performs any post install tasks if defined like pushing further rpm, changing the passwords etc
– Discovers the instance from the in EM for enabling Monitoring & performing change management
activities at a later point of time.
