The Burgas Wetlands or the Burgas
Lakes are a group of lakes - Lake
Bourgas, Lake Mandrensko, Lake
Atanasovsko and Lake Pomoriisko
and also the protected areas Poda,
Chengene skele and Uzungeren near
Burgas. Three of the lakes and the
area Poda are a part of the Ramsar
convention and are of international
importance, particularly as a habitat
of water birds. The Burgas Lake
Complex is one of the three most
significant complexes of the Black
sea cost of wetlands for the water
birds.

which turns it into a center of the hibernating water birds.
The lake is situated on the migratory way Via Pontica.

Mandra-Poda are the birds. It is
