1. High school graduation was my proudest achievement, because as I
moved forward into the world, I knew that there would be a lot of
obstacles and with every challenge there would be a chance for success.
2. College Graduation
From 1993-1995, I attended Sir Arthur Lewis Community College where I
studied Reception, which earned me a diploma. This was a very proud
moment since I was the first member of my family to attend and
graduate from college.
3. While working at Moneymart, I was presented with two postal money
orders worth $960 US each. Upon checking the security features I
discovered they were fraudulent. I was awarded this certificate by the
district manager for saving the company over $2,000, which earned me
the respect of my team members.
4. Certificate of Completion
After making the decision to return to college, I had no idea where to
start. I enrolled in this program and attended college upgrade classes in
Math, English and computer applications which prepared me for the
college entrance exams. I received this certificate upon successful
completion and today I’m a third semester student at centennial college.
5. Volunteering
Every Wednesday for the past year, I have been volunteering with Second
Harvest food bank. It’s quite a rewarding experience because I feel it’s my
way of giving back to the community.
