Let's get into the Advocare products a bit. The Advocare Spark energy drink seems to be the
company's most popular product. I found many other products on their website and there is much to
be found on the web about Advocare weight loss, Advocare diet, and Advocare supplements
products. They have five main categories of products which they call Trim, Active, Well, Performance
Elite, and Definite Difference.
Now let's look at the Advocare compensation plan. To start with, Advocare features a stair step
breakaway pay plan. If you're not familiar with the breakaway part of this type of compensation plan,
let me explain. "The other team, and when you have a team member who reaches a certain level,
they then "break away". At this point you earn a smaller amount of bonus on their entire team. The
plan can pay well, however, most find this confusing and hard to maintain the income level that they
desire.
Lastly we will look at the Advocare training and support system. What we found was that as far as a
real business plan goes there just isn't one. Not a good one at least. There are the usual phone
conferences, and warm market training, but that is it. What will this training cover? What will you
learn? Unfortunately, the same old, worn-out warm market techniques will be learned. Don't get me
wrong, these can work, but only 3% of people who try them actually make any money. Therefore, in
order to have any real success in MLM you have to know how to market yourself and your business.
