I don’t like it when inexplicably good things happen. It messes with my entire worldview. So I started digging around.\n

Why isn’t Diesel #1? Why is Lucky Brand even in there?\n\nExplain the data and what it should mean.\n
Onpage doesn’t explain it.\n
Sitewide doesn’t explain it.\n
Even brand mentions don’t really make sense. In spite of Diesel having fewer. If you go by these Diesel should be near last, even if other metrics matter. So brand mentions probably aren’t the trump factor.\n

I suspect that, if Guess could improve their comments/post, or their likes/post, they might move up, even though they aren’t as specialized/optimized.\n
I suspect that, if Gap could improve comments/post and page authority, they’d move up.\n
But it does matter.\n
A low ratio of post/friends to followers may imply spamminess, or just that you’re a dork.\n

Other stuff that likely matters but I haven’t tested yet: Authority of average follower. Velocity. Chatter quality. Amplification. Google+.\n
If you’re not working social media, there’s only one explanation.\n
