• Crystallize your THINKING (work on your personal philosophy);
• Decide your PERSONAL VALUES (e.g. Love, Integrity,
Accountability,…) and WRITE THEM down;
• Develop a sincere DESIRE for the things you want in life. A
BURNING DESIRE is the greatest motivation for every action;
• Develop supreme CONFIDENCE in yourself and your abilities.
Enter every activities without giving recognition to the possibility
of defeat;
• Develop a dogged DETERMINATION to follow through on your
plan regardless of obstacles, criticism or circumstances.
• FIND OUT what successful people do and do it.
DON’T BE A WASTE, SOW THE SEED.

YOURSELF is not WHAT AM I GETTING ON THE JOB, the
MAJOR question is WHAT AM I BECOMING ON THE JOB;
because TRUE HAPPINESS is not contained in what you get, it
is contained in what you become.

So WHAT MUST I DO TO DEVELOP MYSELF.
• Know that there’s power in a made up mind; DECIDE your career,
family, financial and spiritual goals.
• Learn to WORK HARDER on YOURSELF than you do on your JOB.
• DEVELOP a PLAN for achieving your goals and set a deadline for
the attainment of each goals.
• Be PASSIONATE about BEING RESPONSIBLE; In essence be
DOVOTED to RESPONSIBILITY, ensure you take action ALWAYS.
Know WHAT TO DO and DO IT. Pastor Sam Adeyemi said, Do not
spend your life just dreaming about ‘DOING IT’. A lot of people
will want to ‘DO IT’. But WINNERS will ‘DO IT’. They do what it
takes to get the work done.
SO, when you DECIDE TO DO IT; MAKE IT HAPPEN.

To Walk In A Skillful Way you need to GET more KNOWLEDGE.
That’s what determine YOUR WORTH. We only get paid for
bringing VALUE to the marketplace.
The BIBLE says “my people perish for lack of knowledge”
SO HOW DO YOU GET STARTED?

• If you don’t give, YOU don’t get.
• What you give is what YOU get. Know that what you spend your
resources (time, money, skills, etc) on will determine the quality
of your life. EVERYTHING AFFECTS EVERYTHING ELSE, NOTHING
stands ALONE. WATCH IT & TRACK IT.
• Invest in your ASSOCIATION carefully; ensure you associate rightly.
The bible, books, cassettes, audios, videos, people put together
form your ASSOCIATION. An ASSOCIATION is defined by the
WordWeb as “the state of being connected together as in memory
or imagination”. Your connection determines your wealth.

• It’s good to study the BASICS. Read your bible everyday; it is the
book of the basics, it helps to correct your thinking. (There are
examples and warnings worthy of following in the bible). Read
books (at least for one hour per day) on areas you need help, it
makes you a better ‘if not’ a top-performer in that area. It helps
you to build insight. Listen to (not hear) or watch (not see)
lectures on digital devices.
• What YOU KNOW determines YOUR COMMUNICATION with God,
colleagues, your team, friends and family. Work on your inside, it
determines the quality of your output and the size of your
rewards.
YOUR BETTER FUTURE IS IN YOUR SELF INVESTMENT NOW, HAVE A
DREAM.

Don’t wish for less problems, wish for MORE
SKILLS. Keep gathering more skills to
INVEST in your DREAM, to become a better
person to the partnership, workplace,
commitment, brotherhood; The best value
YOU can add to any relationship is SELF
DEVELOPMENT not SELF SACRIFICE.

• Engage in POSITIVE SELF TALK
• DO what successful people do.
• ASK QUESTIONS from the top performers in your field.

relatives, government, etc.)
• KNOW that you can’t change circumstances but you can change yourself.
• TAKE full responsibility for your life

• MAKE rest a necessity not an objective. The objective of life is not to rest,
the objective of life is to act.
• INVEST in your ability to ACT. When an idea is hot and the emotion is
strong, that’s when to act. Engage in ‘ACTION IMMEDIATE’ to avoid the
‘LAW OF DIMINISHING RETURN’.
