This document discusses using social media in learning environments. It introduces SMILE (Social Media In Learning Environment) and provides an overview of social media platforms and how they can be used for educational purposes. Examples are given of how social media can engage different generations of learners and address various learning styles. Challenges of using social media in education are also presented.
