- After many years of experimentation with placing computers in walls in public spaces, SugataMitra – an Indian researcher – concluded that when children are given unfettered access to the web, they will teach themselves what they want to learn. . Learning occurs as they chat about what to do, what buttons to push, etc. They become a self-organizing learning system. Not only that, they retain the knowledge, scoring an average of 76% at the time and the same or more after three months.
