   order to achieve this, each country in Europe, and
   the European Union, should adopt and implement
   the principles of the IFLA/Unesco Manifesto.
Ensil invites other libray and educational
   organisations throughout Europe to join and
   contribute to further discussion and action.

TIK: new sense, new senses?
  En el verano de 1972, Carlos Lenkersdorf escuchó esta palabra por
    primera vez.

  Había sido invitado a una asamblea de los indios tzeltales, en el
    pueblo de Bachaján, y no entendía nada. Él no conocía la lengua y
    la discusión, muy animada, le sonaba como lluvia loca.

       La palabra tik atravesaba esa lluvia. Todos la decían y la repetían,
       tik, tik, tik, y su repiqueteo se imponía en el torrente de voces. Era
       una asamblea en clave de tik.

  Carlos había andado mucho mundo, y sabía que la palabra yo es la
     que más se usa en todos los idiomas.
  Tik, la palabra que brilla en el centro de los decires y los vivires de
     estas comunidades mayas, significa nosotros.

Prácticas y aprendizaje



A minha formação como homem e a minha carreira como profissional, devo-a tanto às interferências positivas dos meus
      educadores e mestres, como, sobretudo, aos erros educativos que eles cometeram para comigo. Aprendi por intuição e
      experiência de vida que as atitudes chamadas erradas são tão válidas em educação como as atitudes correctas.
Mi formación como hombre y my camino como profesional, la debo tanto a las interferencias positivas de mis educadores y
      maestros, como, particularmente, a los errores educativos que ellos han hecho comigo. He aprendido por intuición y
      experiencia de vida que las atitudes llamadas erros són tán válidas en educación como las atitudes correctas

O educador em que me tornei renunciou há muito à crença mágica do educador perfeito, como o profissional que sou renunciou
    a esconder a ignorância com a erudição.

El educador en que me volví hace mucho que renunció à la creencia mágica en el perfecto educador, así como el profesional
     que soy renunció a ocultar la ignorancia com la erdudición.

Aprecio, portanto, os homens mais por aquilo que são (para o meu sentir) do que por aquilo que dizem.

Valoro, así, más a los hombres por eso que ellos son (para mí sentir) que por eso que dícen.

THEKA Calouste Gulbenkian Project for Teacher Education to Develop
School Libraries, Portugal, 2004-2008

    FGC pretends to promote training teacher’s training on school libraries.
     Goals
    Training teachers to develop schools libraries as resource centres to
     improve reading, information literacy, pupils success and learning, as
     well as to provide support for lifelong learning and gateways to
     knowledge and culture.
    Developing school library projects working closely with pupils, staff, and
     community, through managing and supporting the school curriculum
     and extra-curricular activities in order to promote a whole-school ethos.
    Creating and maintaining self-training resources using a wide range of
     different supports including web pages, database, reference documents,
     information on research and innovation
    Target teachers and pupils
     Teachers: Pre-school and Basic Education, mainly primary teachers
     Pupils: Three to Eighteen years old pupils

  • 8. TIK: new sense, new senses? En el verano de 1972, Carlos Lenkersdorf escuchó esta palabra por primera vez. Había sido invitado a una asamblea de los indios tzeltales, en el pueblo de Bachaján, y no entendía nada. Él no conocía la lengua y la discusión, muy animada, le sonaba como lluvia loca. La palabra tik atravesaba esa lluvia. Todos la decían y la repetían, tik, tik, tik, y su repiqueteo se imponía en el torrente de voces. Era una asamblea en clave de tik. Carlos había andado mucho mundo, y sabía que la palabra yo es la que más se usa en todos los idiomas. Tik, la palabra que brilla en el centro de los decires y los vivires de estas comunidades mayas, significa nosotros. Prácticas y aprendizaje A minha formação como homem e a minha carreira como profissional, devo-a tanto às interferências positivas dos meus educadores e mestres, como, sobretudo, aos erros educativos que eles cometeram para comigo. Some full LIS blogging experiments in full swing. Late 2006: A librarian/scholar proposes to hold a round table of bloggers at the 2007 APBAD conference, and the proposal is accepted. 2007 (The year all hell broke loose!!!) April: APBAD 6 bloggers stand in front of a more than 150 librarians and archivists of all generations answering questions and giving testimony of each one’s experience
