Highlights:
• Spearheaded the Project Management Office and handled a gamut of tasks like:
o Claim Administration entailing requesting Project Office Claim Codes, communicating to the team, monitoring
hours clocked against hours worked by project resources, etc.
o Program Administration and facilitated Projects Classification based on the criticality & priority to the
projects and allocation of the projects at the Program Level; prepared presentations for the Management
Review Meetings
• Credit of functioning as a First Line Manager and led a team of 20+ Project Coordinators for:
o Monitoring daily tasks & deliverables of the team, initiating periodic client’s call and addressing issues related
to projects
o Conducting Focal Point Review of team members & their appraisals, providing their development areas &
career plan, etc.
• Efficiently served as a Resource Manager and handled resource planning, forecast and allocation for optimum
utilisation

Initiation Phase:

Monitoring and Controlling Phase
• Closely monitored project progress through various metrics and also through the Detailed Weekly Status Report,
which served as the official project document for the team with separate sections for Action Log, Issue Log, Risk
Log, etc.

project status so that there are no unwanted surprises for them
Closure Phase
• Obtained the official sign-off from the customer on the Deliverables Acceptance Form, after the deliverables are
completed, based on the criteria defined & accepted during the Initiation Phase.
• Arranged a formal closure meeting with the team to review the lessons learnt during the project and provided
feedback to the Program Office about any new improvement ideas to overcome the problems faced during the
project delivery
