The students will be able to upload their designs and vote for the proposals at www.santanderchallenge.com until 14 May.

Banco Santander challenges students from all
over the world to design the official F1 trophy
The trophy with the most votes will be presented to the F1 winning drivers
and teams of the British and German Grand Prix.
The winner will get a trip for two to the British Grand Prix.
Madrid, 8 April 2014. Banco Santander, through its Santander Universities Global Division, has
challenged university students from all over the world (*) to design the official F1 trophy which
will be presented to the British and German F1 Grand Prix winners. The students will be able to
upload their designs and vote for the proposals at www.santanderchallenge.com until 14 May.
The winner will be awarded with a trip for two to the British Grand Prix, including two grandstand
tickets. In the case of being a client, he or she will be allocated tickets for the Paddock Club, the
most exclusive area from which to watch races, very close to the teams’ garages. The second
prize will be an F1 helmet, and the third, a pair of gloves and boots, both from one of the
Scuderia Ferrari or McLaren Mercedes drivers, to be chosen by the students.
Banco Santander is the official sponsor of Scuderia Ferrari and the McLaren Mercedes drivers.
Furthermore, it is the main sponsor of the British and German Grand Prix, while also having a
strong presence at the Grand Prix of Spain, Brazil and Italy.
